Ania Borkowska and Viola Turska were on board for all of it — the welcome night, the talk on deck, the concerts. Between them, these fifty-eight frames are what they sent back to us.
The room filling up before a note had been played. David close enough to watch him breathe. The stage under a thousand lights, and the faces turned up towards it. We sat with each photograph for a long time before putting them up here, because they deserve that — and because we wanted to look a little longer at what they gave us.

1 · Welcome Night
The first night on board — the room filling up, voices rising, the poster of David watching over us all. The cruise begins.
On stage with Uwe Bahn — David and the band sit down with us, off the spotlight and into the conversation. Stories, laughter, and the kind of closeness only the open sea allows.
