Etched Forever — A Letter from on Board Mein Schiff 1

What follows is her message, sent almost in real time from on board Mein Schiff 1. The cadence, the emotion, the ellipses — all hers.

All MS concerts are different. This one was above all words, and will be etched forever in my mind and soul.
David was at his best on stage — powerful, dedicated, focused, full of energy, mindblowing, charming, and sooo close. The stage was not very big, and I was sitting directly in front of him — I could nearly touch him.
A lovely little incident delighted the audience, and obviously David and Jörg too. When David walked, as usual, through the audience, all of a sudden there appeared a little boy in front of him, maybe three or four years old, with a tiny violin in his hands. David stopped for a moment, smiled at him, and was delighted of his young fan.
His proud parents were sitting behind me — and his fans, including me, were totally connected with him and his music.
I am still caught in this wonderful, light, and joyful ambience of yesterday evening — unforgettable. 29 April 2026. MS concert on the cruise. Mein Schiff 1.
I am afraid my photos won’t reflect the atmosphere of the concert at all, but at least give a little impression. 🌺

Ingeborg’s photos are on their way. As soon as they arrive — together with any moving footage from last night — we’ll be opening a fresh space for them in our Gallery, where the Mein Schiff 1 cruise will live alongside the other concerts we hold close. Stay tuned: this letter is just the beginning of the dispatch.
