Before the First Note, a Heartbeat: David Garrett's Millennium Symphony Open-Air Tour Kicks Off June 21

The first half-minute in the room — before he ever lifts the bow.

It starts in the dark. No violin yet, no spotlight on the man everyone came for — just a line of light strung across the screen, glowing his name and two words: Millennium Symphony. And beneath them, a pulse. A waveform beating across the stage like a cardiogram — red, then white, then cyan — while a heartbeat fills the room, slow and enormous, thudding up through the floor and into your own chest until you're honestly not sure whose pulse you're feeling anymore.

It swells. The light ripples and swirls, the beat climbs, the whole arena leans in toward it — and then the clip above cuts to black, right there, mid-pulse. That's where this clip ends. Bad, I know, sorry! But trust me, we're nicer than you think… keep reading ;)

On 21 June 2026, at Friedrichsplatz in Kassel, that breath gets taken for the first time this summer.

A pulse you already know

Here's why the heartbeat is the perfect way in. The whole idea behind Millennium Symphony — what Garrett calls his “crossover evolution” — is built on songs that already live in your body. He takes the pop that's soundtracked the last 25 years (reportedly everything from Taylor Swift to Rihanna, Ed Sheeran to Beyoncé) and runs it through a violin, a band, and a full orchestra.

These are melodies you already have a pulse for — sung in the car, danced to at someone's wedding, played on loop through a heartbreak. So when they come back transformed, lifting off a hundred strings, it isn't quite a new feeling. It's an old one, turned all the way up. The heartbeat in the dark just makes the unspoken thing literal: this music was always going to land somewhere around your ribs.

He arrives at it, too, with momentum — straight off a sold-out 2025 arena run throughout the world. This is not a man easing back in.

Then he carries that heartbeat outside

For one summer, that same opening pulse gets to echo off some of the most beautiful places in Europe. Because half of what you'll take home from a night like this isn't the setlist — it's where you were standing when it caught you.

Check the Tour section of the website — you'll find dates and tickets through Live Nation and david-garrett.com, worth a look soon, because nights like these have a way of slipping past you.

One heartbeat, fifteen nights

Strip it all back and that's what this tour is: a single heartbeat, carried to fifteen gorgeous places, on the kind of warm nights you find yourself remembering years later. Beautiful music, beautiful settings, and that opening pulse that turns a field or a courtyard or a clifftop into something you feel in your chest.

It starts in the dark in Kassel on 21 June — one heartbeat, and then the bow. Come and feel yours catch up. 🎻

And now… told you we were nice! 😉
Here's how the clip continues — falling into Seven Nation Army and its explosion on stage.

Huge thanks to our dear Ingeborg Faust for the footage.

What a blast! Don't miss it!
Come feel that heartbeat live. 🎻
